If you frequently experience a yeast infection like 4-5 times a year, you should consult the doctor for medical check up to see if you have other health problems like diabetes or HIV.

To prevent vaginal yeast infection you can follow these steps:

• Make sure that your genital area dry
• Avoid clothing made from nylon; make sure you wear cotton-based clothing such as cotton underwear.
• Also avoid wearing panty host and tight pants.
• Change wet swimsuits as soon as possible
• Avoid using scented soaps, feminine sprays, cleaners that have a lot of foam, deodorant tampons and scented toilet paper.

Finally, you should always keep your body dry and not moist because moisture, which makes you high risk of being infected yeast infection.
